Cubs' Nick Madrigal opens up about recent injuries and 'big offseason'

Chicago Cubs second baseman Nick Madrigal has been unlucky to stay healthy this season. 

The series against the San Francisco Giants last weekend was another memory.

...leaving Friday's game with a groin injury. 

Madrigal is on the injured...

..Madrigal hasn't dampened.. 

...his expectations for the offseason. 

Speaking of his latest injury...

"There are a lot of questions at the moment," 

...Madrigal said. "It's going to be a big offseason. It's going to be my biggest offseason in years." 


Madrigal got off to a slow start, playing just 30 games from early April to late July.  


During that time, he hit .223 with a .270 OBP and 3 doubles.
