Jake Paul boxing record: Ranking the YouTube star’s best fights and opponents so far

When will Jack Paul be back in the ring?

The YouTuber has conquered the boxing world since 2020. He has eliminated four of the five opponents he has faced and has improved in every game. Paul’s career as a YouTuber and boxer has sparked debate about his ultimate suitability for the sport.

How is his legitimacy in the ring?

Paul (5-0) has faced NBA stars, YouTubers and former MMA champs in the past. He will face his toughest challenge yet at Hasim Rahman Jr. at Madison Square Garden on Aug. 6. Rahman (12-1), with six wins by KO, is the son of former heavyweight champion Hashim Rahman and Paul’s former sparring partner. Among other things, the fight was called off after a weight disagreement.

Whether Paul plays Rahman Jr again or faces a different opponent, there is no doubt that Paul remains a very popular attraction. While we wait, here’s a breakdown of his five previous fights, in order from easiest to hardest.

5. Nate Robinson (November 2020)

After beating AnEsonGib (we’ll find him) in his first professional game and getting KSI afterward, Paul took a different route and faced three-time NBA dunk champion Nate Robinson. The fight takes place on a map featuring returning Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. It’s the perfect complement to events hosted by the Triller Fight Club.

Robinson was eliminated late in the first round after Paul was involved in a steal. In the second case, Paul Robinson dropped two more times. The second knockdown left Robinson facing first. Paul won after the referee stopped the game.

“Problem Child” looks like an improved fighter, although his opponents are not a factor.

4. AnEsonGib (January 2020)

Paul’s first fight was against YouTube star AnEsonGib, and he actually has boxing experience thanks to two amateur bouts.

Paul had a clear size advantage and AnEsonGib couldn’t calm down when Paul fired at him. He scored 3 knockouts against AnEsonGib and the referee had no choice but to stop the fight and give Paul the TKO victory.

The 25-year-old fought Luke Keeler with a real boxing card in Miami, a point highlighted by Demetrius Andrade. Here’s a little taste of what’s to come.

The most memorable fight is always your first, but it’s not the best.

3. Ben Askren (April 2021)

This one lasted no longer than Nate Robinson’s fight. In fact, one could argue that Robinson is doing better than Askren.

After battling YouTube stars and NBA players, Paul battles a true martial arts star in Askron. The former ONE and Bellator welterweight champion is on a two-game losing streak in the UFC. His reputation for having a unique personality suited Paul very well at the time.

It was an easy win for Paul, who eliminated a seemingly unmotivated Askren within two minutes of the first round.

2. Tyron Woodley 1 (August 2021)

It was Paul’s first long-distance fight against another MMA fighter from Tyron Woodley. Compared to Askren, though, former UFC welterweight champion Woodley is at his best. The beef between the two helped the fight.

Paul’s shot was economical, hitting 35 power shots. He took 71 total shots compared to Woodley’s 52. It looks like Woodley has put Paul in a bind and is ready to quit. Paul recovered and the fight went on for a long time.

“Problem Children” wins by split decision, but it doesn’t end in between.

1. Tyron Woodley 2 (December 2021)

In December 2021, Paul is ready to take on rival Tommy Fury. Paul, who trained hard for the “Love Island” star, was caught off guard when he learned that Fury had to withdraw with a broken rib.

Fortunately, Paul’s rivalry with Woodley has only just begun. About two weeks before fight night (December 18), Woodley stepped up to take on Paul. Like their first fight, it was competitive from the start. Both fighters tried to find an opening. It seems we are heading for another battle that requires a judge.

Paul gleefully ended all doubts.

Paul’s heavy shot knocked Woodley to the ground. He was cold and Paul posed in front of a shocked crowd. While it wasn’t quite as competitive as the first game, the knockout round made it an unforgettable fight and moment.

The two influencers have been going back and forth on Twitter for a while. That took a turn recently when Paul’s match against Hashim Rahman Jr. at Madison Square Garden was called off. The KSI team also told him that the only condition for the fight was that he would play for free. Paul is ready to fight at 180 pounds. KSI said he already had a backup opponent and the fight between the two would be on his terms.

On Monday morning (August 8), KSI challenged Paul: “I’ll give you a contract. We’ll fight again next year. Wembley Stadium. The winner of the fight takes everything. 100% of the wallet will be Threats. Put your money where your mouth is and let’s end it all. Will you agree?”

Paul responded by agreeing to fight in England, but only if KSI admitted he was better at boxing. KSI was quick to respond and agreed with Paul. Then he set the challenge. The battle appears to be taking place in 2023.

Rivalry between Jack Paul and KSI

KSI started his amateur boxing career in 2018, beating YouTuber Joe Weller via TKO. After the fight, he called Jack to fight with his brother Logan. Jack should face KSI. Jack’s video about KSI challenging him has more than 5 million views, while KSI calling Paul has more than 2 million views.

Logan will fight KSI instead.

Before the 2018 amateur race, KSI and his brother Deji mocked the Paul brothers and defaced their car. At the Manchester Arena, Jack defeated Deji, while KSI and Logan were in a majority tiebreaker. Soon after, Matchroom Boxing began a rivalry between KSI and Logan Paul, with both major events holding boxing cards at the Staples Center. KSI will beat Paul by a split decision.

Since then, the two have parted ways. Paul’s career record is 5-0, beating AnEsonGib, Nate Robinson, Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. KSI confronts Paul after AnEsonGib fight. “Problem Children” will face his toughest opponent in Rahman. When that game was canceled, KSI mocked Paul, saying the low ticket price was one of the reasons it was canceled.

Rahman is a substitute opponent as Paul plans to face Tommy Fury at MSG. The fight was called off for the second time in as many months. With plans to fight Austin McBroom at some point, KSI is willing to face Alex Wasabi before retiring.
